This week, UCSF Dental Center begins its first-ever radio advertising campaign. The radio spots highlight the Predoctoral Student Clinic’s new evening clinic hours, as well as its current $40 summer special for dental exams and X-rays.
“Through this radio campaign, we will reach almost 600,000 people with information about our services, and we begin to generate market-wide awareness that we are here and ready to see patients,” says Marc Fredson, Director of Marketing & Communications. “This is one piece of an overall marketing strategy as we open the new evening clinic to patients and serve a new patient population.”
The ads are on the air during the weeks of July 6, July 20 and Aug. 3 on KFOG 104.5/95.7, KGO 810 AM, KNBR 680/1050 AM, KSAN 107.7 The Bone and KSJO AM 560. The spots run during traffic, sports and news reports, and each spot features a “billboard” at the beginning of the report, followed by a 15-second spot at the end of the report.
“Our clinic team works hard to serve our community every day,” Fredson adds. “It is great to be able to tell the Bay Area about the tremendous services we have to offer here at UCSF Dental Center.”
