This presentation will review some evidence-based treatment options for restoring a missing anterior tooth. While there are 3 common options, it is sometimes challenging to pick one option over the other. A matrix will be illustrated to help the clinician come up with restorative solutions in the esthetic zone.

Educational Objectives:

  • Evaluate objectively the various factors that are to be considered in deciding between a fixed restoration or natural teeth vs implants
  • Plan cases for fixed bridges that can provide ideal outcomes in difficult situations
  • Sequence of performing a single tooth implant in the esthetic zone.
