Molly Hague - ADA/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Research Program Presenter

D2 Molly Hague has been selected to represent UCSF at the ADA/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Research Program during the 54th Annual ADA Scientific Session in New Orleans, Louisiana, from November 1-3, 2013.

The ADA/DENTSPLY Student Clinician Research Program was developed originally in 1959. Under the terms of the program, each dental school in the United States and Puerto Rico is invited to select one student to represent it in a research poster presentation competition held during the ADA Annual Session. The program allows DENTSPLY the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of dental sciences and offers each school an opportunity to showcase their student talent.

Hague will present her research, conducted with Dr. Rich Schneider, on the role of ion channels during secondary chondrogenesis in the jaw.

Previously Molly and her work have been honored at the 2012 UCSF Research and Clinical Excellence Day (Ernest Newbrun Award for Research Excellence) and the 2013 UCSF Dental Alumni Association Annual Scientific Session (Second Place). Ms. Hague is also President-Elect of the National Student Research Group (NSRG) of the American Associate of Dental Research (AADR).
