Sheba Vincent was born and raised in Kolkata, India, and later immigrated to Northern California. She attended California State University, Sacramento, completing her Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. After working for a few years, she decided to pursue a career in health care. Her interest in public health led her to pursue a Master's in Global Health from UCSF, where she completed fieldwork in Honduras conducting a cost analysis to incorporate fluoride varnish treatment into an existing vaccination program.
Dr. Vincent completed her DDS at the University of Minnesota where she conducted research completing the first oral health assessment of the Lower Sioux Native American tribe and a study assessing dental student knowledge, attitudes and behaviors on opioid use and abuse. After dental school, Dr. Vincent completed a General Practice Residency at UCSF, where her interest in OMFS continued to grow. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, being outdoors, traveling, watching sports and exploring the food scene in San Francisco.
