A comprehensive program with topics in: Treatment planning, anatomy, bone physiology, patient evaluation, risk factors, occlusion, CT scan, bone density, implant placement protocols, immediate and second stage, mini implants, osteotome techniques, impression techniques, restorative for implant crown and bridge.

Course Objectives:
- Diagnosis, prognosis and properly sequenced comprehensive treatment plan using CBCT
- Comprehensive examination and document patient's dental/medical condition
- Understanding of basic and advanced surgical implant placements with confidence and competency
- Discuss guidelines for a safe and appropriate dental implant placement and therapy
Instructors:
Mike Sabeti, DDS, MS – Program Director
Dr. Sabeti received his DDS degree from University of Texas, Dental Branch at Houston in 1993. He completed a two-year program in Periodontics at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1995. He served at the Department of Periodontology at University of Texas, Dental Branch at Houston from 1995-2000. He completed a two-year program in Endodontics at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2002. He currently serves as Director of Postgraduate Endodontics at the University of California San Francisco. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He has made many invited presentations and publications along with several textbook chapters and textbooks. In addition, he has received few Certificate in Recognition of Outstanding Services as a Faculty Member to the enhancement of education and clinical excellence.
Gaurav Setia, DDS
Dr. Setia is Health Science Clinical Associate Professor in the UCSF Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences and directs the predoctoral prosthodontics courses. He maintains a practice limited to prosthodontics courses. He maintains a practice limited to prosthodontics and implant surgery at the UCSF Prosthodontics group Practice. Dr. Setia received his prosthodontics degree from the New Jersey Dental school.
Sohail Ebrahimi, DDS, FICOI, DLT
Dr. Ebrahimi graduated from U.C Berkeley with a Bachelor’s in Molecular and Cell Biology in 1996 and received his Doctor in Dental Surgery from U.C. San Francisco, School of Dentistry (UCSF). He is a certified dental technician (CDT). Dr. Ebrahimi is the Founder of the education system “SEA Dental Academy” and the Inventor of “Snap-on Adjustable Implant Surgical Drill Stop”

Tuition refund, less a $25 cancellation fee, will be issued only for cancellations received in writing at least 3 business days prior to the start date of the course.
