Digital dentistry is revolutionizing the way we practice dentistry and provide patient care. Understanding the indications and limitations of digital dentistry enhances a clinician’s ability to provide restorative and orthodontic care. There are many systems available making it difficult for clinicians to choose from the available options. This course presents new applications for digital dentistry for the pediatric patient that are diverse and range from diagnostics to appliance fabrication. Cases using different digital workflows for pediatric patients will be presented to illustrate the diverse applications that digital dentistry can have in the provision of oral health care to the pediatric population. This course will provide practical information on applications of digital dentistry from diagnostics to restorations and appliances that can be adopted in your practice.
Educational Objectives:
- Understand how current digital workflows can be used for managing pediatric dental patients
- Evaluate and adopt digital workflows supporting treatment from impressions to appliances
