Kristen Horstmann is originally from Fresno, CA, and later moved to Los Angeles for education, first at Loyola Marymount University, where she graduated with a BS in Biomathematics, then at UCLA School of Dentistry, where she earned her DDS. While at UCLA, she taught undergrads about basic dentistry, served as the ADEA representative and ASDA treasurer, and presented on a national level about incorporating inclusion, diversity, and equity into the dental curriculum. She is very passionate about giving her patients quality care, as she became drawn to dentistry thanks to her own extensive orthodontics and reconstructive jaw surgery as a teen. Kristen is very excited to be in San Francisco, but will only be attending Giants games when the Dodgers are in town. Otherwise, you can find her cooking, running through the city's beautiful parks, or seeking approval from her cat, Sneezy.
