Diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning are critical in obtaining a successful outcome. The success of full mouth rehabilitations is to meet the patient expectations in esthetics, phonetics, form and function. A myriad of factors that need to be evaluated for a customized treatment plan as well as the consideration in material selection will be discussed in this course.
Educational Objectives:
- Understand the importance of comprehensive treatment planning.
- Learn the restorative space requirements for the different restorations.
- Understand the factors that need consideration before deciding upon a fixed vs. removable implant rehabilitation.
Instructor: Yun-Chu Chen, DDS, MS
Dr. Yun-Chu (Judy) Chen received her DDS degree from the Taipei Medical University in Taiwan in 2014. She completed her residency at the National Cheng-Kung University Hospital in Taiwan, and worked in private practice for four years before relocating to the USA. She completed three years of post-doctoral training and earned the certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Southern California in 2021, where she also obtained her MS degree in Biomaterials and Digital Dentistry through attending additional classes and conducting research in comparing the material properties of conventional and CAD/CAM dental materials. Currently, she is a full-time faculty member at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she teaches pre-doctoral Prosthodontics and gives lectures in digital dentistry for pre-doctoral students. She also provides dental care for patients at faculty practice of Columbia University in New York City.

Cancellation/Refunds:
Tuition refund, less a $25 cancellation fee, will be issued only for cancellations received in writing at least 3 business days prior to the start date of the course. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations or no-shows. We reserve the right to cancel any course due to circumstances beyond our control; under those circumstances we will refund all course fee payments.
