D2 and Global Oral Health fellow Ivy Avanessian Fua and her mentor Dr. Lilliam M Pinzón, DDS, MS, MPH have both had their abstracts accepted for the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Africa/Middle East Regional Meeting (AMER) General Session and Exhibition, June 25 through June 28 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Avanessian Fua, who also won a Bloc Travel Grant to assist with her travel, will be presenting baseline and 6 months data, and Dr. Pinzón will be presenting NIH/NIDCR K23 clinical study data.
The IADR has hosts one of the most important scientific meetings for the oral, craniofacial and dental research, and this year's 92nd General Session and Exhibition is expected to draw over 3,000 delegates, with more than 2,500 scientific abstracts being presented.
