Daniel Ramos, DDS, PhD, Professor in the Department of Orofacial Sciences, Director of the Oral Medicine Clinical Center and Faculty Director of the Post-Baccalaureate Program, and fourth-year dental student Tiffany Chih-Tien Hsu, were honored on Sunday, May 17 by the American College of Dentists, Northern California Section.
Dr. Ramos received a Distinguished Faculty Member Award for 2015, and Ms. Hsu received an Outstanding Student Leader Award for 2015.
“It is a fantastic honor to be in such prestigious company,” says Dr. Ramos. “I am humbled by the award, and offer my deepest appreciation to Dr. Robert Ho and Dr. Pamela Alston for nominating me.”
Tiffany Hsu says, “I feel incredibly honored to be receiving this award, and I cannot adequately thank the individuals who supported me throughout my dental school career.” Adds Hsu: “Thank you, American College of Dentists and UCSF, for allowing me the opportunity to be among such a special group of passionate clinicians and outstanding leaders.”
