Jessica Chiang was born in Pennsylvania and raised in East Bay, California. Dr. Chiang received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA in 2015. She then went on to complete her Master's of Science in Oral Biology at UCLA in 2017.
In 2021, Dr. Chiang completed her dental training at UCLA (Go Bruins!), where she served as a leader in oral health outreach and prevention. She served as a Director of the Inglewood Pediatric Clinic, Director of Basic Dental Principles (a pre-dental course), and was a leader in American Student Dental Association (ASDA). Dr. Chiang's passion to help future generations was recognized as she received the Dr. Ronald Mito Award for Professionalism, Leadership and Service. Her interest in pediatric dentistry was fueled from her participation at Give Kids a Smile and local oral health fairs. She absolutely loves connecting with her patients and strives to make a safe dental home for everyone.
In her free time, Dr. Chiang enjoys traveling, singing, and going on food adventures! She is so stoked to be a resident at UCSF!
